Shouldnt our National Security Advisor have military experience? I dont know what Rice's expertise is, I heard studying the old Soviet Union and lots of college, but perhaps we need another Colin Powell type in that job, someone who's actually experienced in military decisions and strategy. In fact besides Powell, you wont find one military combat veteran in the White House. Rumsfield was Air Force intelligence. He comes the closest. His expertise has been pushing Star Wars and running companies. Cheney dodged the draft but has been an armchair general and oil CEO. Perhaps this isn't such a great foreign policy team after all. Wish they had 3-4 Colin Powells. I fear they'll miscalculate, ignore their generals and do something we all will all regret.
