I am all for reducing taxes whenever possible for whatever reason. However, only if there is a corresponding cut in government spending. Until I see a plan that shows that corresponding cut, it is all smoke and mirrors. If taxes are reduced, we just go deeper into deficit spending and that does have an associated cost. There is no such thing as free money. Eventually the piper has to be paid.
