Kenneth Lay influenced Poppy Bush as well as W. See: Message 18338095 Also, you can find a good summary of Enron's influence on Poppy and Baby Bush on pages 99 to 104 in the book, Made in Texas: George W. Bush and The Southern Takeover of American Politics by Michael Lind. Copyright 2003. Basic Books. In those pages Lind writes about Cheney and Halliburton, Thomas White and Enron Energy plus the fortune Baby Bush made when he sold the Texas Rangers baseball team. Baby Bush and Harken Energy are also mentioned in that section. I recommend the book although I haven't finished. (gg).
