That's fine save on a couple of points. I believe Terayon had S-CDMA prior to 1997, and certainly sold it rather successfully for some time since, on a rather wide scale mainly outside of the U.S. Now Cablelabs has been sold on it, and I should also note that S-CDMA is not an "option" for DOCSIS in that its inclusion is required for DOCSIS 2.0 certification. Also- since you broach the subject and aside from effects of general market bubbles and/or malaise- the value of TERN stock has responded significantly, if temporarily, to news of its S-CDMA being chosen for inclusion in DOCSIS, and more recently to news of TERN having the first approved and complete DOCSIS 2.0 product line. Therefore its obvious that if nothing else, many investors in fact perceive value for TERN in S-CDMA's inclusion in DOCSIS, whether you or I should choose to agree or not.

I'd like to see TERN successfully continue to increase DOCSIS market share as a result of the recent wins there-in, before considering investing. This is not a stock I have ever owned, just a stock and a technology I've long been interested in.

As some might know, I always felt there was reason to doubt those who poo-poohed S-CDMA here on this thread, and wonder if they've re-thought the technology given the current circumstance of its perhaps greatly improved credibility, given its mandatory inclusion within newly qualifying DOCSIS 2.0 products.
