Woof! Woof!
The internet box will not be a subset of what we have today. The box will
run a very useful subset of the popular applets that are yet to be developed.
I will very surprised if the box does not include video conferencing,
full motion and sound MPEG movies on demand, very sophisticated full 3D
virtual reality games across the internet, 3D virtual reality selling
of homes and previews of trips you might want to take.

I don't think the net box will replace our PC's - it'll just implement
the stuff non-computer people would like to use. That's why it will be
cheaper.

I fully expect the net to be brought to the home at 1 Mbytes/sec,
10 Mbytes/sec, 100 Mbytes/sec, and higher as time goes on. Full motion
movies will be easy to implement when these speeds are available. Note
that cable comes into your house today at much greater speeds than this.
