I have always found it amazing that Bush gets blamed for the current economic woes. Our current economic woes are clearly the result of the excesses of the 90s and there is little to nothing that Bush could do to stop the bear market.

However, I will be very disappointed if Bush's economic stimulus plan doesn't have cutbacks in gov't spending that correspond to any tax cuts that are proposed. Tax cuts that lead to more deficit spending are not the answer. We need to go all the way and start trimming the fat in every aspect of the economy and that includes the gov't.
