Sorry if you can not see the difference between Cuba and Mexico, In Venezuela, I will tell you just some differences.
I recognize that health and education are widespread in Cuba and every one has access to it, but pleaseeee,,, what is the quality of that service?? For your information I am the Owner of a Resort in Venezuela, after the floods we had some two years ago , Chavez didn't accept USA help to Recover our coastal cities , but accepted thousands of Cuban: Doctors, Engineers, agronomist etc.. I had the honor for 19 months of lodging 8 Cuban doctors in my sector, Very nice people, we made good friendship, most of them said they would love to stay in venezuela but they can not do it because they came without the family and if they did the family would pay the consequences. Two of them were missing teeth and the rest were in a very terrible shape, they fixed their teeth with the dentist in the next little town , which is by the way 90 % poor, black descendants from the Haciendas slaves. for more than a year the local peasants wanted the Cubans out and back the Venezuelan young doctors that do their Rural Medicine Internet.. The Cuban doctors where amazed at the quality and Modern equipment there was in our Rural Hospitals.. MEDICINE IN CUBA IS WIDESPREAD BUT OF VERY LOW QUALITY.
What we achieved in Venezuela:
In the sixties we got rid of all the guerillas, and terrorist financed and trained by Castro,, we have:
FREEDOMMMMMM
Most Venezuelans have access to internet, cnn, bbc, Spain tv, arabic tv, Russian tv and world knowledge.
Our professionals are making post grades in Harvard, MIT, Sorbone and any University they wish
There is a poor sector but there is no hunger,m no queues for Bread, Butter, Meat or even for Dutch Cheese, Italian Provolone, or Swiss Emental,
Our poorest class used to eat meat more then twice a week up to two years ago. and they were accustomed to the best beer and 12 years Black Label , Old Par, Swing, or Chivas regal.
Our poorest class didn't get their problems solved and there are defects in the system but they ALL have a color TV, a VHS a Cable or Direct TV. in those shanty towns, they have Internet outlets in the poorest barrios,
Education is free for all
Medicine is free for all , and on a higher quality then Cuba. ( We do have our Defects too)
On the environmental side they might be better than us , WE HAVE A TERRIBLE DEFECT, almost every body has a Car or a motorcycle, we have ( Sorry,,, might be soon I should say HAD) to many industries,
We have a Judiciary system, and separation of powers, andddd I am tired, so I will not nag you with a long list . |
