You don't think that the best way to enslave people is to make them think they are free, do ya?

Fact is, you said Cuba missed out on 50 years of development. South America, Latin America and Mexico, 99 percent non-communist throughout this same 50 year period, didn't get much development--did they?

In fact, reasonable minds could argue those nations got raped. And they didn't have any Castros to do the rapin'? How sad it is that too numerous were those nations who fell prey to tinpot puppet dictators, doing the bidding of our many of our presidents (and their corporate buddies), this while keeping their people living in extreme poverty over that 50-year span of time?

One could argue that Cuba pretty much got the same kind of raw deal as most Latino companies [EDIT: Whoops! interesting typo--I meant to write "countries."]--same kind of raw deal as most Latino countries got. But for different reasons. Do you agree?
