Steve, I can't back this up but I got this information from Yahoo board. Maybe Alfranco may comet on this who is a very fine poster on solar energy. This information is not fact its what someone has speculated to happen in future with 30 megawatt machine is running full blast. It may be better or it may be worse. Electricity may sell for 28 cents a kilowatt from solar panels from 30 megawatt machine. Lowest price then any one else making panels I have been told. The cost of electricity in Lincoln Park, the Detroit area, in Michigan is about 7 cents a kilowatt. However the price for electricity in California is said to be about 12 cent a kilowatt. When you add 14 cents federal and state tax breaks it brings cost down to 14 cents a kilowatt using the 28 cent starting price. . A niche market can be found where its hard to bring electricity out with a lot of expense in power lines in remote areas. A niche market for more reliable power is also a factor. The Green factor ect.... ECD won't actually no until its running and selling product. If a 100 megawatt machine is done a much lower cost pet kilowatt is expected.(I don't even no the tax breaks in Michigan I belive their is a break in Michigan too. I really cant remember who gave me those numbers United -Solar I assume hopes their right. (Maybe someone else on the board remembers these numbers and can say where they came from.) Allen
