TTR Technologies Appoints Samuel Brill to Board of Directors
NEW YORK--March 4, 2002-- TTR Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ NM: TTRE; Berlin TEJ), a leading developer of digital anti-piracy technologies, today announced the appointment of Samuel Brill to its Board of Directors, increasing the size of the board to seven members.
Mr. Brill, 28, the company's Vice President of Corporate Strategy, prior to joining TTR in November spent four years as a senior financial analyst at JDS Capital Management in New York. He was also involved with the day-to-day operations of the firm and structured a number of public and private financings.
Mr. Brill's research at JDS focused on various companies with strong intellectual property in digital media, software, wireless, Internet security and Digital Rights Management. Consequently, he has developed strong relationships and in-depth knowledge of many industry players, including Macrovision Corporation, TTR's marketing partner for its SAFEAUDIO® audio-CD copy-protection product. Prior to joining JDS, Mr. Brill founded a successful private service company in the food industry.
Marc Tokayer, chairman and chief executive officer of TTR, said the company has been benefiting from Mr. Brill's deep knowledge of the copy protection industry and his strategic skills.
