I'm getting sloppy. I'd seen the new uses of thalidomide a year or two ago. I meant of course the idea of treating pregnant women with thalidomide. Not that thalidomide is bad, in an of itself. Just as lead in petrol is bad, but lead in other things is good [not house paint]. Lead is okay in truck batteries for example.

But I am stuck in QCOM. I'm also scanning the world to find tempting things to buy with my little Tonka Truck of US$, but can't find anything at the moment. I do NOT like the fact that I haven't found something yet. Which means I think that Uncle Al and the US$ are the best business to bet on, with the best returns [even though I don't share in the profits of the money business and he's diluting me flat out and he's cut the interest rate to ribbons]. That is NOT a comfortable situation. I feel like a frightened rabbit in the headlights. I am not going to enter the Alice In Wonderland world of gold which they tell me is just down there in the rabbit hole and will give me safety.
