Ted Re,..Here's what's so off about Harris's statement......its not the hate of Bush that has liberals so bent out of shape. That I would agree with. It is all of those damn contortions that are the problem. Earlier in 2002, I wondered why he bothered me so much more than his father or Reagan. I am surprised. I thought you hated all of them equally. I believe his vision is so different than that of most liberals that it proves to be extremely threatening and provides a flashpoint from which a vehement reaction can be expected from liberals. A vehement reaction???? Sounds like you are laying the groundwork for your new 2004 democratic campaign; its wasn't the terrorists fault, GW made them do it. But what disgusts me most about conpassionate, impassioned, anal retentive conservatives is best examplified by your answer above. You try to be honest and have a reasonable conversation and you get shit back. The Right is so busy accusing the Left either of being unpatriotic or immoral, they don't have time to see the forest for the trees. No wonder they have trouble maintaining their popularity in this country......let's see if we can do some housecleaning in 2004, starting with the head shrub. ted
