Wake-up call on US real-estate

12:27PM Homebuilders slip amid negative comments by J.P. Morgan (LEN, KBH, CTX, PHM, HOV) by Tomi Kilgore
Shares of homebuilders are generally lower after Analyst Michael Rehaut at J.P. Morgan said he believes the temporary short-term rally in the sector has "run its course." He also thinks a negative long-term stance is beginning to unfold, such as decelerating housing starts, slowing order growth, rising inventory levels and a more challenging pricing environment. Among the more active stocks in the sector, Lennar (LEN) is easing 2 cents to $53.22, KB Home (KBH) is 95 cents lighter at $43.06, Centex (CTX) is 60 cents lighter at $50.88, Pulte Homes (PHM) is down 75 cents at $49.37 and Hovnanian Enterprises (HOV) is easing 36 cents to $32.50.
