CB, I see that I was challenged but I did not accept. The deflating/ bursting of the bubble has taken longer than many bears had expected ( myself included)but it has also been more damaging than most bulls have expected. As you are aware the stock market has failed to rally in response to aggressive rate cuts for the first time since the 30s. The decline in corporate profits was the worst since the 30s. The US markets last saw 3 consecutive yearly declines 1939-42 . The indices are lower now than when AG first cut. My outlook for 03 is US$ decline continues, Gold passes$400/oz with ease, US stock indices decline continues, the US economy continues to deteriorate. CNBS said Tice's Prudent Bear fund has the best performance of any diversified fund for the past 3 yrs. Mike
