Except now Uncle Sam is on clay legs:

The economy is A Total Mess.

Continued worldwide deflation is assured in 2003.

The Chinese Yuan is fixed to the dollar and will
fall with it. This will keep China's exports cheap
and press the currencies of countries desperately trying
to compete with China's cheap prices.

U.S. manufacturing is largely dead. There is no job
creation in the U.S. Bush is running a bankrupt system
on rubber checks. The flight of foreign capital from
the U.S. will continue.

Next to pop; the consumer and housing bubbles. And of
course the dollar.
