2003 could prove to be a very exciting year in the Coronation Gulf diamond district. One of the reasons why I think so, apart from fact that diamondiferous pipes with interesting grade have already shown up, is that a comparatively large, crater facies pipe known as "knife" was found in this district. That tells me that more could be found on any of the project areas here:

Tonnage can offset grade to some degree. Proximity to the Arctic Ocean is helpful as well. As airborne data from 2002 is reviewed, there may already be obvious indications pointing to large pipes as suggested by the magnetic signature of the Knife pipe:

I suspect this could be the case as some of the players seem to be already getting active....I smell something good cooking up there:^)
