I can't imagine.....it could only be someone close enough to know something or, more likely, "think" they know something. They had a real long end game between the SCION affair and the debt swap machinations.

Disk Drive Sector? Really? Not much American left of it is there? Three drive makers with dicey balance sheets and one small supplier still in the suspension manufacturing business, HTCH.

Speaking of which...the good news is HTCH just guided next earnings to the upper end of the range. But....bad news is unit shipments are flat and they have raised their market share from 50 to 65%. This means that the total suspension market actually shrunk, which implies some combinatorial mixture of fewer drives/lower platters per drive. There is nothing here to suggest yet that the increasing demand for storage bytes has yet to catch up with the increasing supply of storage bytes. Who would have thought MR would prove to be such an astonishingly successful technology? :o)

Maybe Stitch will come back from the dead and fill us in on who picks up what is left of RDRT's plants in Thailand and Malaysia :o)

Best Regards.......Tom
