The point has been lost, which is that Bush can and should solve the Iraq matter diplomatically, as he says he will in NK, in fact a considerably more dangerous situation...one aggravated by the "talk loudly and carry no stick" approach the Bush administration has taken to the problem.

Again, your analogy makes no sense. I think anyone who is familiar with Teddy Roosevelt would agree that Bush's handling of these crises is totally consistent with TR's approach. In fact, I can't think of a better example of walking softly and carrying a big stick than what Bush is doing today.
