Let's see...Labeling a country with a formidable military a member of the "axis of evil" would in any book qualify with talk loudly (and carelessly), not softly.

Referring the matter to the IAEA and the UN and "we will deal with NK diplomatically" is carrying no stick of course. NK is undeterred, unafraid. Short of a deadly, horrible war, and crawling back for help to the agencies he discredited in the Iraq situation, there seems to be very little GW can do.

I say this with some trepidation of course...these men could easily let the situation get the better of them and really escalate the NK situation dangeraously (re: Rumsfeld's comments about multiple wars).
