Golden Eagle Announces Award of Gold Nuggets

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH—(BUSINESS WIRE)---January 7, 2002---Golden Eagle International, Inc. (MYNG, OTCBB) announced today that five individuals will be receiving gold nuggets from the Company’s Cangalli gold mine. The five were randomly chosen yesterday, January 6, 2003, from 1,630 interested persons who signed up for the Company’s Eagle E-mail Alert List to receive updated information about the Company.
The five individuals are: Brian Daugherty, Vikki Higginson, Thomas Massari, Paul Steeby and Anna Viscomi.
