Kevin, you have taken some liberty with the definition of "channel stuffing". Companies are always trying to determine what the consumer interest is going to be. They try hard to be ready for increased demand from an external event. Not having the product on the shelves is every companies nightmare.

Since over shooting the mark results in a tough year over year comparison, at best and redemptions at worst, that is a huge price to pay for short term gratification. Purposefully over estimating the demand would be foolish.

I don't think Carl Johnson's track record warrants the accusation you have proffered.
