I guess I see such things as the flat tax or sales tax reducing the 90% paid. And shifting the burden downward in the income scale. Especially when you factor in the other forms of taxes I noted in a previous post. Some of which are now deductible, and would not be under a flat/sales tax system.

The ultimate answer is not a one size fit all tax code change itself, it is controlled government spending which would allow an across the board tax reduction for everyone. imo
