Al, <NK can rain hell on SK and our guys are there in the middle helpless. What are you going to do then?>

South Korea has mandatory military service for all young men, making it easy for them to call up massive amounts of reserves. South Korea also possess American military technology. South Korea can also rely on American airpower and naval power for support. North Korea doesn't stand a chance.

Heck, no shots even need to be fired. Cut off all shipments to North Korea and set up a blockade. You see North Korea threatening war if the U.N. resorts to economic sanctions? (http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/01/07/korea.talks/index.html) Contrary to what you believe, that's not a "show of strength," but a sign of desperation.

Or would you rather cower in fear because North Korea can launch a few ballistic missiles at Seoul and Tokyo? If we continue to follow the policies of liberals, North Korea will have more than just conventional missiles to threaten all of Asia with.

If you still don't see the method in North Korea's madness, remember that their entire aim is to bring whatever twisted glory they can to their departed "Great Leader." That's the nature of a personality cult. Wake up and open your eyes.
