I'd like to hear defenders of the Bush position describe what the goal is, the hoped-for scenario for the next 6 years, what the economy, military, terrorism, and foreign affairs *should* look like, as a result of current policies

Economy:
GNP GROWTH 3-4% ANNUALLY/ Best world Productivity
UNEMPLOYMENT 4-5% (folks it aint gonna get any better then that unless we get into a superheated economy which leads to bubbles.
INFLATION 2-3% annually. In a reasonably strong economy some increase in inflation is necessary especially since the price of commodities likely to rise.

Military:
Force Level--sufficient to handle two wars simultaneously backed by a strong Reserve System
Technology--Hi tech improvements continue to allow us to have more productivity out of each soldier/sailor/airmen and Marine. Bio and Chem warfare defenses improved.
AntiMissle--Limited antimissle defense set up to counter ROGUE nations getting ahold of a few ICBM's.
Homeland Security--Continue to beef up through manpower and technology the ability to track aliens in this country and protect our borders.
Terrorism--Eliminate Alquida, settle matters in the Middle east, assist Pakistan in controlling their Militants.
Foreign Affairs--WHAT FOREIGN AFFAIRS? It was our PREVIOUS president who had affairs FOREIGN To many of us. Jdn
