He left with the nation's economy the best in history, a balanced budget,a budget surplus, a reduction in the national debt, the lowest unemployment, 22 million new jobs,
almost no inflation, the lowest interest rates in decades, the lowest crime rate in 30-40 years, Northern Ireland at peace, the overthrow of a dictator in Haiti and no more rickity boats coming into Miami, Bosnia etal stabilized and a dictator ousted with not a single casualty of ours, and an agreement with nuke enthusiast NK that lasted until Bush came in. And in his 11 hour he had a 99% agreement in the ME that most experts still say will be what a settlement will look like if there ever is one....
No, I have no doubt he was the best. And since I don't believe in too many coincidences, I can only point to what happened the last 2+ years and ask why it happened and who takes the heat??? |
