Her being pro-Port is tantamount to being considered a Communist back in the McCarthy era. She's on the side of expanding the Port of Houston in an area where the City of Houston's further intrusion into their lives is not wanted by the majority of citizens in Seabrook. It's gotten very nasty for those few people out there that do want the Port to expand. Death threats, hate mail, you name it, the pro-Port people have gotten it ten fold, them and their families. It's not surprising that she snapped as she calls it. But, it it's no excuse for her behavior that evening.
