Aus and UF Thanks fellows. I went through your comments and links with him etc. and he ran away from that Nikon Coolpix and will chase down the A40. He was very impressed at the help and resources the thread provided to him. Thank you. I guess digital cameras were big here this Christmas, he says Future Shop, Blacks and others were VERY low on inventory and said it looked like replenishing was going to be slow from the manufacturers. He said displays seemed to be about 60% marked as "out of stock". Thanks again C
