Doren,

The strength of Rhapsody will gradually appear as the available date
is getting closer. The main reason for this is because Rhapsody is
Unix-based OS, which is corporate preference. The power of this OS
will share corporate market with Sun, Silicon Graphics, HP-UX,
IBM-AIX, Microsoft NT.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jobs is gradually surface up to become the chairman of
the board of directors from the following article:

macworld.com

I have been closely monitoring Apple's power transition during Dr.
Gil's tenure and found out that Mr. Jobs has been in the center of
the decisions since he entered Apple as CEO's advisor. Mr. Larry of
Oracle has been pushing Jobs to the first man in Apple. Now, it is
getting more mature so Mr. Jobs could easily get onto this position-
Chairman of board of directors, in which he could totally control
future CEO/Chairman. Therefore, whoever becomes Apple's CEO/Chairman,
he/she needs to be working as directed by Mr. Jobs.

Mr. jobs stands tough and firm in several issues, such as license
negotitation, Rhapsody running on Intel-based platform, etc.

It seems Mr. Jobs can attract large corporations for strategic
alliance as opposed to Dr. Gil. Under his direction, Apple probably
can develop much clear strategic plan in the short time since he
has been well prepared before his reentry into Apple family. I hope
this time, he will guide Apple into another peak within one or two
years timeframe.
