The tabloids dont seem interested in GOP scandals. A strange phenomenon. Probably due to liberals not attacking Bush and his ilk for personal reasons, prefering to stay serious and attack him on policy. The character assasination squads of the right-wing "media" have few if any counterparts on the other side. The Democrats have to wait for someone like Larry Flynt to give the GOP a dose of their own medicine. Maybe Flynt understands the right-wingers better, their personal attacks being a form of verbal pornography. Like the ones accusing Clinton of "rape". They want to put lurid images in our minds as their means of character assasination. Images which have little or no relation to reality but stick in the minds nonetheless. Vicious, dishonest but sadly sometimes effective.
