Hi CobaltBlue; Re the control freak next door. A more legal thing to do is to lure migratory insectivorous birds (for example geese, ducks, robins, wrens, etc.; too bad crows aren't included) to come roost on your property. It's against long time federal law to do the slightest thing to annoy them, much less hurt them. They drive people who aren't into having noisy cute little birds pooping on their property absolutely nuts.
