Jesse "The Idiot" Ventura wound up in the rut foreseen by Adlai Stevenson almost half a century ago. He continually condemned every opposition that was put in his path as "politics" (the most mortal of all sins to "The Idiot"), being far too arrogant to allow that someone out there might have better ideas or a deeper viewpoint than him.
