I'm not buying it. It is not unpatriotic to point out that Social Security payments and Unemployment Compensation are also subject to double taxation. In fact, there are many forms of income subject to double taxation but Bush only wants to discuss one form because it benefits his wealthy contributors. Of course, oil is a factor in his decisions about Iraq. His father's administration was honest enough to admit that oil was the reason. We don't seem to care about dictators in countries without oil.
