Karen brought up Americans as barbarians, due to "Bush", and MD stated she hadn't seen many of them. Karen, by calling Americans barbarians, started the flame war.

But you disingenuously stated that MD brought up Americans as barbarians. That is a factual error, deserving of an apology to MD.
