no, upmove for gold as dollar gives way to euro
then huge upmove for gold as euro gives way to gold
sorry for confusion
anything that diverts money from dollar is good for gold
eventually I expect money to come directly to gold, after participants realize that the euro aint so hot afterall
with limited economic growth prospects, Europe will not see sustained rises in the euro
as their rates come down and converge with US rates, the Euro will not benefit from the differential as much

I do expect the Euro to enjoy some investment benefits, purely as a currency reserve (new status)

all roads lead to gold, at some point on the pathways
