True lower income people might initially pay down debt, but then they would likely feel free to incur new debt. Just how much wealthier do you think a person will feel if their stock market holdings recover a meager 10%? After having lost 50 to 60% over the past two years.

I heard the editor of Nations, some publication I'm not familiar with, state last night that 85% of the stock and bond market is owned by the top 10% on the income bracket. It is those people this tax cut is directed at. Can anyone dispute the above referenced statement?
