I'd be curious to know, If anyone on this thread had ALL their investments in a stock that paid dividends and the dividends were tax exempt, would the resultant tax savings amount to any more than a small hill of beans? Also if companies feel compelled to pay out dividends Rather than re-invest the money to grow the corporation, how would that fuel growth in employment?
