What portion of dividend-paying stocks are in 401(k)s, IRAs, 403(b)s, etc., where each and every $ withdrawn is subject to ordinary income tax? Will only taxable accounts receive the benefit of tax-free dividends? Or will they institute some humongous record-keeping nightmare?
