zonder,

Re: Now, nobody supports "freedom fighters".

Apparently you do not support freedom fighters. I assure you that you do not speak for everyone. :)

Re: what on earth are you talking about when you say Turkey is "illegitimate authority" on South-Eastern Turkey?

My comment was based on reports from Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. It is based on the same use of the language as would be the case when I tell you that George Bush is illegitimately interfering in the sovereign affairs of another nation with his grasping for the reins of power in Iraq.

Re: RGD: I have seen intelligence reports in the alternative press .........
zon: What "alternative press", and where are the links?

Tons of them here: rittenhouse.blogspot.com
My personal collection here: Message 17985939

Re: Musul & Kerkuk used to be part of Turkey, not so long ago, if I recall correctly.

Mosul and Kirkuk have never been part of Turkey. Prior to the creation of Iraq in 1921, they were provincial cities in the Ottoman Empire.

HTH, Ray :)
