It appears to me that drilling for gas is starting to pick up somewhat. I'm hearing that orders for large O.D. pipe used for surface casing on jackups is starting to pick up. I've had a casing order from MVK pushed back which may mean their business is picking up. Six months ago, we could get Schlumberger at any time , now we may have to wait in line. I see Denbury drilling 16,000 foot wells for CO2. To me, this all means some folks think investing in exploration is going to have a payoff in the foreseeable future. Then there are all these new forecasts predicting a new ice age.
Why aren't all the gassers going up?????
