Why is everyone assuming there will be a 2H03 increase in demand for chips?

I don't know the timing on it, but I think it will come. Why? Because it always has and because I don't see anything that would make a recovery different this time. As a matter of fact, I see reason to believe that growth in the world economy is set to enter a multi-year up cycle. The use of semiconductors will grow even faster as those devices that contain chips become more widespread in their use.

All the things that people are worried about are transitory and will not derail the locomotive that is driving the world forward.
