John: My apologies for calling you on the left, that would really piss me off also. I don't need to look at a tax table. I've seen all the tables that show the top 1% pay over 40% of the taxes, the top 10% pay over 50% of the taxes. If you would read back today at Michael Cummings posts, you will see the case made for the elderly coming over because of the dividend exclusion. With interest rates as low as they are, passbook savings accounts are less than 1%. Senior Citizens can move some money into safe dividend paying companies, let's say 3%, and in effect earn closer to 4% now. Regards, BobP
