KT, I think the dividend exclusion is a great idea but would be happy to limit the amount or phase it out at a certain income level. The retired folks get a pathetic rate of return from savings, t- bills they need a safe source of income. Many have been screwed by the financial predators of Wall St retirees need a safer source of income - dividends don't lie (but they can be eliminated.) mike
