Yes it does. The repubs are buying the votes of those most likely to vote for them. Why give money to Dyed in the wool dems? That' why the Dems plan pays off their constituents. The unemployed are 63% dems. I made that stat up, but I bet it's true given a center piece of the Dems Econ Plan was a 6 month extension of unemployment benefits. I say let them try trickle down Reaganonomics once more. Give the repubs and Bush their Rich guy tax cut. We'll see where they are come 2004. If the economy improves then maybe they were right. Or perhaps just lucky. Only time will tell. jb
