Actually only 55% of taxpayers own any dividend paying stock or fund. It does not seem much of a stretch to assume that as you whittle out the mom and pops who will receive 5 buck on this deal you will find that 40% of the dollars will go to 2% of the tax payers. Perhaps they deserve it and it is the right thing to do. I don't know. Time will tell After the last time it was tried we had the biggest deficit in history. I know that you will blame the dems for going on a spending spree so let's not rehash the 80's. If you really want to fix the economy you will quickly come to a diplomatic arrangement with N Korea, Let the UN take care of Iraq and bring down the deficit. It worked before it will work again. Prosperity through peace and fiscal responsibility. jb
