Howard, seriously, if you really want to make money jumping in and out of this stock, why don't you just start trading QDEL intraday? I can't tell you how many times this stock has jumped up and pulled back 1/4 points in just one day this past quarter. You could have made a killing, day after day.

If you really want to manipulate stock prices, just study the work of Montgomery Securities. Those boys are jedi-masters of manipulation. They can &@#% the price of a share of stock any time they want to.

Let me give you some ideas for future exploitive moves that you might conjure up:

The first step is to be viewed as an authority on a company. The second is to develop credibility. The third is to groom a following. The fourth is to suggest SUBTLE (notice I capitalized "subtle" for emphasis...) seeds of doubt as to the performance of the company.

Take any negative information that you can find, however minor, and re-release it as the stock price starts to rise. Repeat as necessary, over and over again. Find another company in the same sector that really is performing poorly, and compare it to the company you are trying to tank. This will plant the idea of guilt by association in the mind of the investor.

If the company is doing well, but the sector is not, well, you have a goldmine of ammunition to sit on the stock. In order to tank a stock, you have to appeal to the FEAR instincts of the investor. Comments like, "get out now and avoid the pain" appeal to the DEFENSIVE instincts of the investor. Not good psychology on your part. Your intent is having an opposite effect.

Remember, become an authority, develop credibility, and get us to follow you. Be subtle with you comments and make us afraid for our investment. Maybe then we will give up our shares and make you rich. Maybe.

P.S. PLEASE answer this one question... If everyone who follows this thread sold their shares tomorrow at the exact same time, do you REALLY think it would have more than 1/64th effect on the price of the stock for maybe 5 minutes??

Let me ask it another way, do you think an old man peeing in the ocean can raise the tide???
