Maybe I am biased against the CUBS. I hate the CUBS. In 69 Santo and the rest of the team, partied all summer long thinking it was a wrap. Promotional ads, records, Santo heel click thing, him yelling at Don Young did not help matter any, and worst of all "Ron Santo Pizzas" I kid you not on the latter. If they decided to play ball rather than party they would have won it. When you cellebrate and brag early, bad thinks happen. 69 was one of the biggest choke jobs in history. No I can not fault santo entirely for that, but I never liked the guy so I am biased. Celebrate AFTER you win not 2 months early. I never like Rose either, but will freely admit Rose ate, slept, dreamed, and played baseball about has hard as anyone. No I do not want Rose in the fame either. M
