There is an intersting article about the issues facing the sales force automation vendors. The parts that piqued my interest:

1) Web-based products are a must for many network managers.
2) Most SFA software doesn't meet the needs of the customer.
3) There are over 500 vendors and consolidation is continuning to be projected in the industry.
