Do you own a dictionary?

\So"cial*ism\, n. [Cf. F. socialisme.] A theory or system of social reform which contemplates a complete reconstruction of society, with a more just and equitable distribution of property and labor.

So your rob(tax) the rich and give it to the poor posture is socialist in nature.

If you want to discuss fairness lets talk about what a rich taxpayer gets from the government compared to a low income one. They get equal access to public education(although the rich taxpayer will probably not use any of it), national security, highway and communications infrastructure etc.

So tell me why should in a fair system if a low and high income tax payer get the same amount of services from the government shouldnt they pay the exact same amount?

So the sytem as it stands is unfair. Now to be practical you have to get more money from people who have more of it. That doesnt mean it is fair or equitable it is just a practical necessity.

Come on, it doesnt take a CPA to understand this.

And please save the personal insults for your inner family circle.
