so clappy, i have a story.
i came this close (holds up her thumb and forefinger touching) to being arrested for murder.
i could see the headlines.
masset woman accused of PMQ ax murder
the husband went into the basement on monday to cut up some cedar kindling which was down there to dry out.
he couldn't find the hatchet, so used the splitting maul (8 pound ax head). try and picture it.
then when he finished, he reached up overhead and "hung" the ax up!! before you ask, he is NOT blond.
it fell and boinked him on the back of the head.
you know what head wounds are like - they bleed. a lot.
while i was ministering to his 1 inch long, very shallow cut(thank goodness), he said.
"it hurt like hell - i saw stars and could feel the blood trickling down my neck. i wondered what side of the ax hit me".
i ventured to say that if the sharp end had, he wouldn't be here to tell the story. and then i thought about the implications.
how could i convince the RCMP that i didn't have a clue how the back of his head had been opened up with an ax.
think about it. home alone. he and i. no one else in the house.
"officer, honest, i didn't do it".
yeah, yeah lady. tell it to the judge.
hoser
ps - we took pictures of the float, but you know sometimes when you're at the end of your roll of film and it's got 24 pictures, but it advances to 25 and then 26. is there really a 25 and 26? that is the question.
MAYBE we have pictures of the float |
