This fusion thing smells like an idea to arrange for special interest groups to find a place for themselves at the table of largesse. It's been tried and has worked in unique ways. But that does not improve us or empower our democracy, it just shifts the recipients of largess around. We have many dems running as republicans in key areas of the county, they find it accpetable to lie to their voters about who they are. Frankly, the Politics of our age has not kept up with any area of our advancing self worth. We need better Ideas, better Politicians...not cut from the same or even similar cloths.
